Commercial and Residential Mold Contamination Claims

Members of the firm have litigated mold claims in conjunction with several construction defect, real estate disclosure, and commercial use cases.  Mold contamination often results from construction defects and goes unnoticed until it has already caused significant damage and/or health problems.  Ward & Hagen has successfully represented homeowners who purchased an older home, only to discover mold contamination in the walls which made the residence unlivable.   The homeowners recovered enough to fix their home, and insure the mold did not return.

Ward & Hagen has also represented the interest of commercial tenants who’s office space grew increasingly more contaminated, despite the half-hearted attempts by the property management company at dealing with the problem.  The tenant eventually successfully found suitable & safe office space without incurring excessive costs.
